MyGene Molecular Diagnostics is a new laboratory established in 2018 by Dr Marina L Georgiou. The laboratory offers diagnostic analysis providing fast and accurate results. Using CE-IVD and FDA approved real-time PCR machine and reagents the laboratory aims to provide diagnosis across international standards. Quantitative real-time PCR is a valuable technology used for diagnostics of genetic disorders, cancer and the detection of infectious diseases caused by bacterial, fungal and viral pathogens.

 

Dr Marina L Georgiou studied Genetics at Queen Mary University of London and then joined Imperial College London where she obtained her MRes in Cancer Biology and later her Ph.D., from the Department of Surgery and Cancer in 2018.
